Harold Dutch Stilwell, age 85 of Pataskala, passed away at Altercare of Valley View Nursing Home on Saturday. He was a member of Mt. Zion United Church of Christ, and attended St. Michaels United Church of Christ; he was also a member of the Lancaster Old Car Club, the Baltimore VFW, and the Pickerington Senior Citizens.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Louise Marie Stilwell of Pataskala; sons Richard Stilwell of Baltimore, and Rob (Connie) Stilwell of Baltimore; daughter, Teresa (John) Williamson of Utica; grandchildren, John Williamson, Jenni (Robert) Priest, Marshall Stilwell, and Krystal Stilwell; great-grandchildren, Ashten Priest, Hannah Priest, Emmah Priest, John Williamson Jr., Shawna Williamson, and Ethen Stilwell; two brothers, George Stilwell and David Stilwell; sisters, Eileen McManis, Marie Spiegel, and Mary Dupler; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Olive Stilwell; three brothers, Thomas, Fred Jr. and Charles Stilwell; daughter, Christine Stilwell, and daughter-in-law, Sandra Strickland-Stilwell.
A service will take place at St. Michaels United Church of Christ on Wednesday at 10:30am officiated by Pastor Dale-Anne Gray and assisted by Rev. Jill Dunlap. The Baltimore Burial Detail will have a veterans service at Carroll Cemetery following the service at Carroll Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME in Baltimore on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM and one hour prior to the service at the church. The family would like to thank FairHoPe Hospice, all the staff at Altercare of Valley View Nursing Home, and a special thanks to Mindy, Andrea, and Kellie. Memorials can be made in Harolds name to the American Cancer Society.
