Sager
Harold R. Sager 88 of Lancaster, Ohio formerly of Baltimore, Ohio died Monday, December 31, 2012 at LanFair Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was a graduate of Liberty Union High School Class of 1942. He was a World War II veteran serving in US Army in France and Germany. He was retired from Alten Foundry and Machine Works and Westerman Companies with 46 years of service. He was a life long member of New Zion United Methodist Church and served as Sunday School Superintendent for 25 years.
Harold is survived by his daughter, Kathleen (David) Congrove of Lancaster, Ohio; son, Rev. Thomas (Pamela) Sager of New Bremen, Ohio; grandchildren, Darci (John) Pribble of Columbus, Ohio, Chad (Cindy) Congrove of Baltimore, Ohio, Anthony (Cathy) Sager of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Kimberly Sager of Dayton, Ohio; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Carol Sager, parents, Bryan and Ella Sager and brother, Chester Sager.
Funeral service will be held Friday, January 4, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at New Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Stuhmer officiating. Burial to follow in Union Evangelical Cemetery. Friends may visit 1 hour prior the service at the church on Friday.
