Harold R. Davis, 91, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born May 31, 1926, in Nelsonville, Ohio to the late Fred and Minnie Davis.
Harold retired from North American Aviation / Rockwell International. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a past commander and a very active member of the Baltimore V.F.W. Post #3761. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #11 in Lancaster, the Millersport Alturas Masonic Lodge #537, and Olivedale Senior Citizens.
Harold is survived by his daughters, Marie Ellen, Cheryl Anne, and Carolyn Sue; step-sons, Lee (Joan), Neal (Tamarra), and Ora Fulton (Lori); sister, Lois Clouston; and numerous grandchildren, including Mike Kinser, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Davis; parents; brothers, Samuel, Robert, and Fred, Jr.; and sisters, Betty Lax, Lela Pierce, and Doris Chandler.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 351 Coonpath Rd NE, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 with Father Peter Gideon officiating and military honors by the Baltimore V.F.W. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
Donations may be made in memory of Harold to the Baltimore V.F.W., 2155 Reynoldsburg Baltimore Rd NW, Baltimore, Ohio 43105. Arrangements through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster.
