Harold M. Blauser Sr., age 65 of Baltimore, formerly of Millersport, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, surrounded by his family, August 15, 2014, at the Pickering House. He was born on March 14, 1949 in Lancaster, to Jesse and Florence Hurley Blauser, who preceded him in death. He was a 1969 Graduate of Millersport High School and Heath Vocational School. He worked for Lancaster Glass, Anchor Hocking, and 22 years with Top Cat Concrete as a plant supervisor. He also taught Drivers Education and loved farming. He was a member of Lighthouse Memorial Church in Millersport where he taught Sunday school, drove the church van, sang in the church choir, was in plays, and enjoyed mowing the church yard.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Mary Jane Fry Blauser; sons, Harold M Jr. (Jodi) and Kristopher R (Elizabeth), grandchildren; Milee, Caleb, Kris Jr., Jesse, Jacob, Megan, Cheyanne, Aydan, Noah, and Keagan; brothers, David (Ruth) Blauser and Donald (Peggy) Blauser; sisters-in-law, Cindy Ayers, Penny (Chuck) Jacks, Sherilyn and Patty; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family wishes to thank all the help he received from his aides, nurses, therapists, doctors, everyone at the Pickering House, and Tobin his Passport Caseworker who made this all happen.
A service will take place on Monday at 1:00PM at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow the services at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1PM until 4PM and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
