Harold Blank

Harold E. Blank, 93, of Lancaster, passed away on September 15, 2015 at the Pickering House. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Harold was a veteran in WWII in the army. He retired from Anchor Hocking plant 2 after 42 years of service. He was a lifelong member of the Eagles and the American Legion.

Harold is survived by his children, Kay (Dick) Schultz, of Pickerington, OH, Rick (Karen) Blank, of New Mexico, Jim (Debbie) Blank, and Tammy (Jim) Stevens; grandchildren, Jake, Kadi, Staci, Craig, Angi, Scotty, Mandi, and Corey; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Kathrine Blank; parents; and brothers and sisters.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home located at 405 N. Columbus St. in Lancaster. Burial will take place following the service at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Friends and family can visit on Thursday 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
