Hal Lewis Lilly

Hal Lewis Lilly, age 85 of Lancaster, passed away Oct. 20, 2023 at Bickford of Lancaster. He was born on Feb. 17, 1938 to the late Joseph Gaspar and Emma Kelly Lilly in Beckley, WV.  He was a teacher in the LHS system retiring after 31 years, he taught at Amanda, Stanbery, and General Sherman.  He was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and his amazing personality and love for life will be greatly remembered.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sandra Ball Lilly; nieces and nephews; and many great friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and wives, Joe (Doris) Lilly and Jack (Charlotte) Lilly.

Caring Cremation™ has taken place through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster. A memorial service will take place on Tues. Oct. 24, at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home at 11:30 AM officiated by Pastor Todd Noland. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
