H. Eugene White 65 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at Fairfield Medical Center.
He was Vietnam veteran serving in the US Navy. He was a retired kitchen and bath decorator for Lancaster Hardware. Eugene was also with the Lancaster Police Department from 1972-1976. He was a member of the Masonic Blue Lodge #57 F & AM and the VFW Post #1380.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Roxie White; daughter, Brittany (Zack) Teetzel of Lancaster, Ohio; granddaughter, Kristeena Teetzel; mother, Vonda Kiger, step-mother, Catherine White both of Lancaster, Ohio; sisters, Judy (Mike) Conrad of Arizona, Sandy (Steve) Wilkins of Lancaster, Ohio and Suzie White of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Frank (Bev) White and Michael White; step-brother, Mike (Alma) Kiger; step-sister, Kim (Danny) Sells all of Lancaster, Ohio; mother-in-law, Martha Gorman of Florida; numerous nieces, nephews and special buddy, Tanner.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harlow E. White, step-father, Gerald Kiger, brother, Larry White and sister, Cindy Downard.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Pastor Dan Smith officiating. Caring cremation has taken place. Friends may visit 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
