Gregory Connor

Gregory L. Connor, 68, aka Sailcat, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, February 10, 2024. Greg was born in Columbus, Ohio to late Tom and Ann Connor and graduated from Bishop Hartley High School in 1974. 

He was a beloved son, brother, friend, and fellow adventurer in the game of life. He loved racing and riding dirt bikes, spending time in Hide-A-Way Hills, swimming in the Lake of the Four Seasons, hanging and talking with friends and family (particularly at holiday dinners), and camping with friends, nieces and nephews in the Adirondacks. Nothing was better for him than telling stories around the campfire, beer in one hand, heater in the other. 

He is survived by his brothers Patrick (Michelle), Kevin and Matt; sister Lee Ann (David) Petty, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Greg was predeceased by his parents and a brother Thomas (Susan).

A private graveside service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lockbourne, Ohio with Deacon Tom Rowlands officiating.  Friends may visit Thursday from 5-8 pm at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105.
