Greg Frear

Gregory “Greg” Allen Frear, 48 years old, of Lancaster, passed away March 16, 2015 at the OSU Hospital in Columbus. Greg took every situation with what he had and lived it to the fullest. If life knocked him down, he took it by the horns and tried again. Road trips, music, laughter, family, and friends was how he spent his time. Greg was a truck driver for a majority of his life. As much as he hated the time away from home, he loved to the see the beauty of the states.

He is survived by his daughter, Bethany Smith; son-in-law, Matthew Smith; granddaughters, Riley and Addison; parents, Dennis “Denny” and Carol Frear; brother and sister-in-law, Troy and Beth Frear; nieces, Sasha, Seairra, Kayla, Danielle; nephew, Owen; sister, Monica Frear; soon to be brother-in-law, Scott Searing; niece, McKenna; grandmother, Wanda “June” Bralley; great lifelong friend, Brian Milliser; beloved cat, Brew; uncles, Pete (Linda) Temper and Sammy (Bonnie) Temper; and aunt, Donita (Keith) McGill.

Greg is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruth “Marie” Temper.

Arrangements have been made through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home and a celebration of life will be held at a later date for anyone to come to share memories and “rock out” in Greg’s honor.
