Glennda A. (Durst) Street

Glennda A. Street, of Lancaster, passed away on July 1, 2021 at her residence. She was born to the late Glen and Pearl Durst in Mason County, WV on February 3, 1939.

Glennda worked for Tussing Gas for many years, was a member of the Rush Creek Presbyterian Church in Rushville, and was active in the Rushville Lioness’ Club.

Glennda was a loving, supportive and generous daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved cooking and baking.   She frequently traveled and visited Europe several times.  Her grandchildren became her greatest joy, and she visited them often.  She will be missed.

Glennda is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Mueller; son, John (Lisa Simmons) Street; grandchildren, Daniel Mueller, Emily Mueller, Bailey Street, and Casey Street; siblings, Mike (Mary Anne) Durst; Sonja Durst; Karen (Robert) Harmon; Jackie (Barry) Tackett; and Deborah Weber; and several nieces and nephews.

Glennda is preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Street; and her parents.

A funeral service officiated by Chaplain Mark Linn will take place on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 11 AM in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM on Monday, and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
