Glenn Pressdee, 82, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at the Pickering House, surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 20, 1930, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to the late Clarence and Jane Pressdee.
Glenn worked for many years at Kenny's Drive In, where he met his wife of 43 years, Catherine. Later on he was a supervisor for Stop & Go Foods. He also enjoyed coaching little league baseball. Glenn attended church at The Salvation Army and enjoyed going to The Samaritan Center.
Glenn's greatest joy was his family which includes his wife, Catherine Pressdee; children, Gloria Crist, Patrick (Tracy) Pressdee, Carla (Gary) Munsey, Connie (John) Russell, Jeff (Kay) Pressdee, Todd Pressdee, Lisa Pressdee, and Caullette (Jeff) Iles; 22 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; sister, Audrey Vandergrift of Cuyahoga Falls; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service for Glenn will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at The Salvation Army, 228 W. Hubert Ave, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 with Major Jeff Stacy and Major Deborah Stacy officiating. A reception will follow the service. Family and friends may visit from 4-6 p.m. Wedesday at The Salvation Army. According to Glenn's wishes he has donated his body to The Ohio State University to further medical studies.
