Gladys Caley

Gladys L. Caley, age 90, of Ashland, formerly of Sugar Grove, passed away on April 29th, 2012. She was born in Lewisburg, PA to her parents, William D. and Susanna Eden Bostain on November 11, 1921. She was a member of St. Mathews Lutheran Church in Sugar Grove and also a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Ashland. She was an avid crafter and raised two beautiful children. She was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Christina S. (Gordon) Hughes of Ashland; son, William P.(Libby) Caley III; eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband William P. Caley Jr.; and sister, Dorothy Leitch.
A graveside service will take place at 2PM on May 4th, 2012 at St. Mathews Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the FRANK E SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N Columbus St. Lancaster, OH 43130, at 1PM and then process to the cemetery.
Memorials can be made in Glady’s name to St. Mathews Lutheran Church, 213 E Fifth St, Sugar Grove OH 43155.
