Ginny Emich

Virginia R. Emich, 91, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Brookdale with her daughter, Sarah by her side. She was born May 25, 1925, in Shelby, Ohio to Raymond and Julia (Luke) Dix.

She was a former member of the Bremen Presbyterian Church and a member of TWIG 7.

Ginny is survived by her daughter Sarah (Scott) Pugh of Lancaster and granddog, Topsy.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years and high school sweet heart, Bill Emich and her brother, Clyde Enslow Dix.

Ginny’s family would like to thank Main Street Terrace, Brookdale Senior Living, and her Brookdale canine companion, Gracie, for their love and care of Ginny.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 23, 2016 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. Memorial gifts may be given to the Fairfield Area Humane Society, 1721 Granville Pike, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or FairHoPe Hospice, 282 Sells Rd, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
