Geraldine "Jerri" Summers

Geraldine “Jerri” Summers, 71, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2011.

Jerri worked many years in the Dry Cleaning business. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church. She enjoyed being a Tupperware representative for many years and she also enjoyed dancing at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio.

Jerri is survived by her children, Pamela Kay (Rodney) Dittoe of Lancaster and James Edward (Cheryl) Summers of Lancaster; grandchildren, Travas (Angie) Michel, Nicole (Dan) Kemp, Kyle (Liz) Summers, Crystal Summers, and DeOnna (John) Woltz; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert H. Green of Lancaster and Ira Edward (Linda) Green of Florida; sisters, Belinda (Dale) Hettinger of Lancaster, and Darlene Page of Portsmouth, VA; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Grover Blauser of Lancaster.

Jerri was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert E. Summers; parents, William and Cynthia Green; sisters, Mary Louise Robinson and Joan Coakley; and brother, William T. Green.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday at St. Mark Catholic Church, 324 Gay St, Lancaster, OH 43130, with Father Peter Gideon presiding. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. Friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. A Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
