Georgianna F. (Casto) Moore

Georgianna F. Moore age 73 of Lancaster, formerly of Amanda, died on Feb 20, 2023 at Arbors at Carroll.  She was born on Feb. 2, 1950 to the late Denvil and Silvia Maxine McCoy Casto in Charleston, WV.  After her father’s passing she was raised by her late stepfather, Clyde Hettinger and mother, Maxine.  She worked from 1969 at Drew Shoe until they stopped production of shoes and then worked at Meijer.  Georgie’s amazing personality and love for life will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was survived by her sons, Sean (Jody) Ward and Todd Ward; grandchildren, Brent Ward, Zane Ward, Sarah Stebelton, Joseph Rayner, Heather (Brian) Cadwallader; great grandchildren, Hudson Ward, Sophia Cadwallader; siblings, Marcia Eckard and Steve (Vicky) Hettinger; sister-in-law, Sue Hettinger; nephews, Jason, Josh, and Michael Sean; and special four legged friend, Zoe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father; and brother, David Mike Hettinger.
