George E. Bennett, Jr. 34 of Centerville, Georgia former resident of Pleasantville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, Georgia.
He was a graduate of Fairfield Union High School Class of 1994 and earned a degree from ITT Tech in Dayton, Ohio. He was a general manager for PSP D.B.A. Steak and Shake in Mercer, Georgia.
George is survived by his parents, George and Betty Jo Bennett, Sr., of Pleasantville, Ohio; brothers, Andrew Bennett of Centerville, Georgia, Paul (Natalie) Bennett of Pickerington, Ohio and Philip (Kelly) Bennett of Newark, Ohio; nephews, Zachary and Michael Bennett; grandmother, Ruth Bennett of Lancaster, Ohio; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Bennett, Frederick and Norma Jean Wright and great aunts and uncles.
Funeral service will be held Friday, September 16, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Pastor Jerry Bennett officiating. Caring Cremation to follow. A private entombment will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore, Ohio. Friends may visit Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
