Gary Massie

Gary M. Massie, of Lancaster, Ohio crossed the threshold of life to be with his Creator on Monday, October 14, 2013. He was born June 23, 1944, to Millard and Vergie (Delong) Massie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gary L. Massie; brother, Curtis Massie; sisters, Theresa Massie and Elizabeth Frazer; nieces Debra and Darcey Jones; and nephew, William Frazer.

He is survived by grandchildren, Erin, Ethan, and Abbie; brothers, Eugene Massie of Sinton, Texas and Richard Massie of Circleville, Ohio; sisters, Edna Nothstine of Columbus, Ohio, Linda McFerrin of Pataskala, Ohio, Janet DeGarmo of Kingston, Ohio, and Joyce Christiansen of Skipperville, Alabama; daughter-in-law, Tammy Massie; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Gary are at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster, Ohio. Calling hours are from 11:30 a.m. till the time of the funeral. Burial will be at a later date in Harrison Township Cemetery.
