Gary Carlton Eisz, 78, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away peacefully Thursday, Morning, April 28, 2022 surrounded by his family.
Gary was born on May 25, 1943, in Lancaster, Ohio to the late John H. Eisz and Evaline B. (Daubenmire) Eisz. He was married to his loving, devoted wife of 58 years, Karla Grace (Engle) Eisz, on March 22, 1964. Gary operated Eisz Sohio Station on the corner of Memorial Drive and Fair Avenue for many years and joined KalKan Petcare (Mars) from which he later retired. Gary was a man of many skills with rock solid morals and a good work ethic. He was an enthusiastic gardener, dog lover, mechanic, Ohio State fan, a hunter who especially loved to deer hunt, a fisherman, and he liked relaxing in his recliner with his dogs by his side catching up on all the old western re-runs. Gary was loving, passionate, and devoted toward his family with his heart and soul. The love that Gary showed to his “Girls”, his “Boys”, family, and friends will live on through them and their families for many years to come. Gary truly was a beautiful soul who left behind him a trail of wonderful memories and love that shaped into those who he was surrounded by when the lord called him home.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Karla Grace (Engle) Eisz; daughters, Kristy Jo Farmiga and Jennifer (Doug) Mullen; grandchildren, Devon (Susan) Mullen, Dylan Mullen, and Dawson Mullen; mother, Mary Ann Rudolph; siblings; Debbie (Terry) Craiglow, Julie (Harold) Pool, and Johnny (Becky) Eisz, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jo Ann Ball.
