Fred R. Carpenter, 77 of Baltimore, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 13, 2013 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital.
He was a US Army veteran and a farmer. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Dairy Boosters and C.O.B.A.
Fred is survived by his daughters, Amy (Harold) Wimer and Susan (Kevin) Wagner all of Baltimore, Ohio; sons, Michael (Lynn) Holland of Heath, Ohio, Patrick (Barbara) Holland and Scott (Shawn) Holland all of Baltimore, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Carpenter of Lancaster, Ohio; sisters, Wanita Burt of Thornville, Ohio and Alberta (Sonny) Winner of Williamsport, Ohio; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille F. Carpenter, parents, Raymond and Pauline Carpenter and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Monday, September 16, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Alice Wolfe officiating. Burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with the Baltimore VFW Post 3761 conducting military rites at the cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105 and 1 hour prior the service at the church on Monday.
Memorial gifts may be given to the Christ United Methodist Church, 700 S. Main St., Baltimore, Ohio 43105 in his memory.
