Frank Homer, 93, of Lancaster, died on Sunday, August 11, 2013.
Frank served in the U.S. Army during WWII, where he was the recipient of 3 Bronze Stars. He was a plumber for 40 years and a member of the Plumber & Pipe Fitters Local #189. He enjoyed farming on the family farm after retirement.
Frank is survived by his son, Frank E. (Judy) Homer and his brother, Richard (Darlene) Homer; grandchildren, Teresa (Paul) Claar and Mike (Christine) Lane; great grandchildren, Korey, Travis, and Kyle (Rachel Holderfield) Slone; great great grandchildren, Dakota and Karson; and many nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Homer; parents, Henry and Anna Homer; sisters, Florence Fisher, Dora Spafford, and Anna Boring; brothers, John Homer, Ernest Homer, and Jim Homer; grandson, Glenn Franklin Eugene Homer; and great grandson, Brandon Slone.
According to Franks wishes no services will be held and Caring Cremation has taken place with the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME.
