Francis E. Archer

Francis E. Archer, age 81, formerly of Somerset, died peacefully at his residence in Lancaster on June 4th, 2023. He was born to the late Hugh Hunt and Nellie Hunt Archer on July 21st 1941, in Kingston, Ohio. Francis served four years as a US Marine. He retired from Continental Midland where he was a Machinist. Francis's amazing personality and love for life will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

His survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Carolyn Archer; sons, Ed (Jill) Davisson and Rodney Davisson; grandchildren, Alex Davisson, Tyler (Jessica) Davisson, Trevor (Marisa) Davisson, and Trey (Kelsey Nash) Davisson; great-grandchildren Georgie, Bryer, Rhett, and Jacey; and several nieces and nephews.

Francis was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Donald and Harold Archer; daughters, Melissa and Deanna, and great-granddaughter, Darian.
