Frances Bailey

Frances Darlene Bailey, age 73 of Baltimore, formerly of New Salem died at Fairfield Medical Center on September 29th, 2016. She was born to the late Jay and Lana Young Wallace on April 28th, 1943. She was a nursing aid who worked at Golden Manor and was a bartender at the County Line Bar. She enjoyed crocheting and puzzles but mainly loved being with her family and friends.

Darlene is survived by her children, Sue Tolliver, John Bailey, and Trenda Strudaus; grandchildren; great grandchildren; brother, Henry (Elly) Wallace; sister Leittie (Bob) Quick; and several nieces and nephews.

Darlene was preceded in death by her son, Russell Bailey; parents; and siblings, Rosie, Elizabeth, Gene, Al, and John.

A funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 10:30AM at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow at New Salem Cemetery.
