Fran (Bougher) Truog

Fran (Bougher) Truog, 71, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Fairfield Medical Center.

Fran was a member of Blessings Memorial Church where she also played the piano. She was a 1960 graduate of Lancaster High School and formerly worked as a missionary on the Texas - Mexico border. She was also involved with the Monday evening volunteer ministry at Crestview Nursing Home. Fran will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and for her generosity to others.

Fran is survived by her husband of 38 years, Mike Truog; daughter, Kelly Shouldis; grandchildren, Brandyn and Brooklyn; siblings, Helen LeFever and Fred (Cheryl) Bougher; and many other family and friends.

Fran was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Marie Bougher.

A funeral service for Fran will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
