Everett Dean Beery of Thurston, passed away Monday Nov. 28, 2022 at OSU Medical Center. He was born to the late Ralph and Martha (Reedy) Beery on Oct 19, 1940 in Fairfield County. He was a member of the East Side Church of Christ in Lancaster and retired as a shop mechanic for Fairfield Industries.
He was survived by his daughters, Kimberly Kay (Mike) Taranto of Pataskala and Kelly Jean (Scott) Snoke of Thornville; four grandchildren, Ricky (Alisha) Gifford, Tiffany Gifford, Amanda Snoke and Sean Snoke; four great grandchildren Andrew Newsom, Austin “JR” McMillen, Paisley Gifford and RaeLynne Gifford; brother James "Rod" (Gayle) Beery; sister, Connie (Walt) Eck; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, 3 months and 24 days, Arlene M. Beery; parents; and brother, Thomas Lee Beery.
A funeral service will be held Friday Dec 2nd, at 2PM at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 SOUTH MAIN STREET, BALTIMORE, OHIO 43130 with Minister Keith Kress officiating. Burial will follow in Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Thurston, Ohio. Friends may visit Thursday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home.
