Evelyn Cripps

Evelyn M. Cripps 81 of Pleasantville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at her residence.
She was a member of Thurston United Methodist Church and loved flowers, gardening, yard work and quilting.
Evelyn was a loving mother, grandmother and great mother. She is survived by her son, Doug (Shelia) Cripps; grandchild, Chris (Cynthia) Cripps; great-grandson, Damon Cripps all of Bremen, Ohio; three step-great-grandsons, Scottie, Danny and Mikey; many nieces, nephews, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Cripps, parents, Henry and Edna Schaffner, brother, Edwin Schaffner and sister, Betty Yencer.
Funeral service will be held Monday, February 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43107 with Rev. Dr. Rebeka Maples officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
