Esther F. Gretter 87 of Lancaster, Ohio died, Friday, December 24, 2010 at Lanfair Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was retired from Essex Wire and a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. She is survived by her sister, Helen Deeds of Lancaster, Ohio; several nieces and nephews, Relva (Barry) Blackstone of W. Jefferson, Ohio, Mollie Laut of South Carolina, Brad (Angie) Bodamer of Lancaster, Ohio, and Bill Brubach of Lancaster, Ohio; several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Gretter, parents, Albert and Anna Dufner, sister, Velma Moran, nephew, Randy Deeds, niece Carol L. Brubach, and sister-in-law, Margurite Bodamer. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMB US ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Mark Raddatz officiating. Burial to follow in Stukey Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Ohio. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may be given to Emanuel Lutheran Church, 231 E.
