Esther Janelle Vinck Curran of Lancaster, Ohio, died at her home at 86 years young on Thursday, August 23, 2012.
Esther’s daughters want to thank all the Muirwood friends, Olivedale friends and caregivers at Homestead, Fairfield Medical Center and FairHoPe Hospice for care, friendship and support.
She was born in Canonsburg, PA and raised her family of four in Washington, PA. She and her husband of 55 years, Justin Curran, retired to Myrtle Beach, SC for 20 years. Esther moved to Lancaster, OH in 2005 where she also felt at home.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Justin, sons, Jeffrey and Edward Curran and parents, Nestor and Anna Vinck She is survived by her brother, Russel Vinck in SC; two daughters, Pat McDaid and Debbie Eisert all of Lancaster, OH, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and cat, Annabell.
Some of Esther’s lifelong passions were reading and playing bridge. She was a member of Olivedale Senior Citizens Center.
Caring Cremation has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130.
