Erika Lynne (Linebrink) Bisel

Erika Lynne Bisel went home to Jesus on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at the age of 52, at the Pickering House in Lancaster.

She was born in Columbus Ohio to Jon and Ruth Linebrink. As a teen she went on several mission trips with Teen Missions International to Canada and Germany.  She graduated from Asbury College with a degree in education K-12.  She married her college sweetheart Chris Bisel. Together they raised and home schooled six children. Erika loved to read and spend time outdoors.  She also poured her heart and soul into the kids of Pack 256, Troop 26 and Troop 42.

Erika is survived by her husband Chris A. Bisel; her children Tabitha, Anastasia, Samantha, Joseph, Michaela, and Topher; grandson Dean; and her father Jon Linebrink.

She is preceded in death by her mother Ruth (Yelle) Linebrink.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Scout Troops 26 or 42 of Pickerington Ohio. For donations, Checks can be made out to Troop 26 and mailed to Ruth Meyer, 5710 Stemen Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147. Both Troops will benefit from one donation. Calling hours will be held at the Life City Church, 6389 Blacklick-Eastern Rd NW, Pickerington, OH 43147, Thursday, October 6 4-7PM. A memorial service will be held at Life City Church on Friday, October 7 at 2:30PM (doors will open at 2pm).
