Emogene Holliday

Emogene E. Holliday, 86, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2013, at the Sterling House.

Emogene was born October 24, 1926, in Bremen, Ohio to the late A. Carl and Blanche (Mathias) Holliday She worked for Ohio Bell for over 36 years.
Emogene is survived by her sister, Mary Margaret Myers Jackson of Lancaster; nieces and nephews, Mary Frances (Scott) Sanders and Mariagene (Joel) Wilson all of Arizona, Carol Corner, Sharon Hommel, Stacie Holliday, and Gary Holliday; great niece, Paula; and great nephew, Elliot.

Emogene was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marie Woltz; and brother, Earl Holliday.

Funeral service for Emogene will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster with Pastor Terry Borah officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Bremen. Family and friends may visit from 12 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
