Emma E. Tussing, 94 of Baltimore, Ohio peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Pickerington Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on January 16, 1924 to the late Dariel and Lala (Gilmer) Finkbone.
She was an active member and business woman in Baltimore. She was co-owner of the Baltimore Laundromat from 1959-1977. She was a lifelong member of Trinity United Church of Christ, life member and active member of the O.E.S. Parthenia Chapter 124 and also a 50 year member. She was active with the Commandery Auxiliary, a Sunday school teacher and other organizations affiliated with her late husband, Richard Tussing.
Emma is survived by her son, Donald (Sue) Tussing of Macon, Georgia; daughter, Jean Bauman of Baltimore, Ohio; grandchildren, Stacy Tussing and Denise (Tony Francini) Tussing all of Columbus, Ohio and Jennifer Morris of Byron, Georgia; great grandchildren, Colt, Krista and Devin and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Richard Tussing, children, Gary and Elizabeth, son-in-law, Ron Bauman, parents, brothers, Burl, John and Paul Finkbone.
Funeral service will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105 with Rev. Jill Dunlap officiating. Burial will follow in Union Evangelical Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 5-8 p.m. with an O.E.S. Parthenia Chapter 124 memorial service at 7:30 p.m. all at the funeral home.
