Emma “Jerri” Lee McDonald 81 of Rushville, Ohio died Friday, June 10, 2011 at Crestview Manor Nursing Home. She was a retired teacher from the YWCA.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Gene McDonald; son, Marvin Scott (Connie) Moyer of Bremen, Ohio; daughter, Stephanie (Dennis) DeVore of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandchildren; sisters, Edna Bearden and Diane Weeks both of Lancaster, Ohio; brother-in-law, Louis Laird; sister-in-law, Frances Matz; nieces and nephews, Bill, Steven, Deborah, Lisa, Kimberly, Angie, and Jeff.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Basil and Zola Jarrell, sister, Naomi Laird, and brother, Bill Jarrell.
Caring Cremation has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. No services to be observed.
