Emma L. James of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Crestview Manor Nursing Center.
She was retired from Maple Street United Methodist Church as a care taker with over 30 years of service. She was also a member of Maple Street United Methodist Church.
Emma is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Vikki James of Baltimore, Ohio; grandson, Jeremy B. James of Minneapolis, Minnesota; great-grandson, Tevin James; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence James, parents, Jason and Mary Thompson, three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral service will be held Friday, November 1, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. Burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit Friday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home on Friday.
