Ellen McCray

Ellen McCray, 69, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016, at Fairfield Medical Center.

Ellen’s greatest joy was her grandchildren and she was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Ellen is survived by her son, Don (Lisa K.) McCray II; daughter, Lisa (Alan) Cook; and grandchildren, Alexandra McCray, Megan Hughes, Makenzie McCray, Savannah McCray, Lauren Cook, Addison McCray, Keegan McCray, and Flynn McCray.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Elma Claffey.

Ellen was able to share the gift of life with many others through her generous organ and tissue donation.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster with Reverend Roger Quay officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. Friends may visit from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
