Elizabeth Norman

Elizabeth G. Norman, age 93, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, August 23rd, 2013 at the Fairfield Medical Center. She was born to William and Bertie Fry Gilmore on July 27th, 1920 in Jeffersonville, IN. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a member and highly involved with several organizations throughout Lancaster. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed.
She was survived by her daughters, Karen (Kenneth) Goff of Indianapolis, IN. and Lynn (Dennis ) Clarke of Lancaster; son, Seth (Miya Polak) Norman of Pukalani, HI; grandchildren, Amanda Norman of Portland, OR, and Eric (Theresa) Gilleard of Parrish, FL ; great grandchildren, Lauren and Addison Weber, and Christian Gilleard; nephew, Bill Gillmore of Boonesboro, Maryland; several great nieces and nephews; and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Seth Norman; brother, Alpha Gilmore, and granddaughter, Kari Ann Clarke.
A service will take place at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME in Lancaster, on Monday at 1:30PM, officiated by Rev. Robert McDowell. Burial will follow the service at Forest Rose Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Monday from 11AM until 1PM, prior to the service.
