Eleanor J. Walters 90 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Country Lane Gardens, Pleasantville, Ohio.
She was retired from the Frame Shop in Lancaster with 30 years of service and also had worked for Ohio Bell, Anchor Hocking Glass Corp. and Lancaster Hospital
She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church and a member of the Family Ties Square Dance Club in Pickerington. Eleanor was an author writing a book titled The Mystic Coin.
Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Pamala Walters of Lancaster, Ohio; son, Barry C. Walters of Sugar Grove, Ohio; grandchildren, James Pierce of Heath, Ohio and Cameron Pierce of Lancaster, Ohio; great granddaughter, Amy Dixon of Heath, Ohio; brothers, Lawrence Warthman of Lancaster, Ohio and James (Janet) Warthman of Alma, Michigan; sister, Helen Dupler of Nevada and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James I. Walters, parents, Charles and Nellie Warthman, brothers, Willis and Earl Warthman, sisters, Clara Binkley, Marie Noland, Faye Ruff, Nola Eckart and Garnet Bryan.
Funeral service will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Roger Quay officiating. Entombment will follow in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum, Rockbridge, Ohio. Friends may visit Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday.
