Eileen Meeks

Eileen M. Meeks, age 82, of Baltimore died peacefully January 14th, 2015 at her residence. She was born on August 7th, 1932 in Millersport, to the late Oliver and Sylvia Boyer Keller. She was a 1950 graduate of Millersport High School where she met the love of her life, the late Dale E. Meeks, and was married on June 3rd, 1951. She was a retired farmer and longtime resident of Baltimore. Her hobbies included gardening ,always taking care of her lawn, and was a superb cook who will be greatly missed.
Eileen is survived by her daughters Angela (Butch) Durgin of Baltimore and Lorna (Steve) Enyart of Westfield, IN; five grandchildren; two step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren; brothers, Owen (Carol) Keller of Baltimore, Lester (Maryland) Keller of Millersport; sister Luella (Ron) Shew of Erlanger, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; daughter, Pamela Sue Meeks; sister, Beatrice Boltenhouse; brothers, Donald and Loren Keller, and parents, Oliver and Sylvia Keller.
A service will take place on Sunday at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME at 11AM, officiated by Chaplain Kermit Welty. Burial will follow the service at Kirkersville Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 5PM until 8PM Saturday and one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Memorials can be made in her name to the FairHoPe Hospice 282 Sells Rd.
