Edward Geist

Edward Willis Geist 55 of Lancaster, Ohio went to be with his lord on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at his residence.

He served in the US Army and was a member of the Lancaster Vineyard Church, Lancaster Vineyard Food Pantry, volunteered for the Salvation Army as a Bell Ringer, loved to walk and take pictures.

He is survived by his daughter, Kayla Marie Smith of Evans, LA; loving sister, DeAnn Geist Kirkwood of Lancaster, OH; brother, Thomas Charles (Carol)Baiduc of Fort Bragg, CA; loving nephews, Derek (Megan) Kirkwood of Amanda, OH, David (Jocelyn) Kirkwood of Columbus, OH and Dillion Matola of Mesa, AZ and loving great niece, Madison Kirkwood and great nephew, Jozef kirkwood.

Edward was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Geist, parents, Glenn and Delores Geist and grandparents, Martha and Stanley Zadroski.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lancaster Vineyard Church, 431 Whiley Rd, Lancaster, OH 43130 with Pastor Joel Seymour officiating. Caring Cremation® is being handled by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. Friends may visit 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
