Edna Shepperd

Edna L. Shepperd, age 98 of Lancaster, died April 27, 2013 at the Fairfield Medical Center. She was born on May 20th, 1914 in Somerset to Grover and Lucy Ream Lones. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church and worked for 27 years at Johnson's Shoe Store.
She is survived by her children, Dale Shepperd of Lancaster, Irene McCandlish of Lancaster, and Roger Shepperd of Florida; grandchildren, Barbara Shepperd, Michael (Sara) Shepperd, Jayne (Kirby) Storts, Janet (Craig) Kaiser, Sharon Tom, Steve (Pam) McCandlish, and Scott (Shannon) McCandlish; great grandchildren, Heather Shepperd, Phillip Shepperd, Jennifer (Jacob) Freeman, Eric Storts, Sarah (Rob) Andrasik, Michelle (PJ) Sullivan, Adam Kaiser, Claire McCandlish, Owen McCandlish, and Cody McCandlish; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Shepperd; son-in-law, Glenn McCandlish; daughter-in-law, Ruth Ann Shepperd; granddaughter, Diane Shepperd; brothers, Bob, Charlie, Russell, and William Lones.
A service will take place on Wednesday at 10AM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, burial will follow at the New Lexington Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 2PM until 4PM and 6PM until 8PM at the funeral home.
