Edgar Everhart

Edgar A. Everhart 88 of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 at his home. He was born on December 12, 1929 in Alliance, Ohio to his parents, Allen and Odessa Everhart. He graduated from Wellsville Ohio High School and served in the US Navy. When he returned he married his childhood sweetheart, Dorothy J. Jagusch.

Ed was a member of St. Peter's Little Country Church, Millersport Alturas Lodge 537 F & AM Aladdin Shrine and Millersport Order of Eastern Star Chapter 301. He owned and operated Electrical Continuity Components after retiring from Western Electric Co.

Ed is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dorothy; daughter, Kim Everhart (Debbie); son Mark Everhart (Renee) and son-in-law, Ray Dennis; grandchildren, Ashley Studt (Matt), Nicholas Everhart, Amanda Rambo, Alyssa Best and Alec Best; great-granddaughters, Eisley Studt, Rhemi Studt and Bella Young.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughters, Susan R. Dennis, sister, Patricia Nelson and brother, John Everhart.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Little Country Church with Dr. William Beausey and Richard Boucher officiating. Caring Cremation® is being handled by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. Inurnment will follow the service at Tschopp Cemetery. The family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m. until time of service and after the service, there will be light refreshments at the church.
