Ed Ristau

Ed Ristau, 81, of Lancaster, passed away on February 24, 2025 at Mt. Carmel East. He was born to the late Edward and Sophie Ristau on June 6, 1943 in Beaver Falls, PA.

Ed volunteered as an EMT and firefighter for Bloom Township for over 12 years. He loved to tinker with electronics, being a jack of all trades, and master of several of them.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Ristau; son, Mark (Natalie) Ristau; brother, Jack (Margaret) Ristau; sister-in-law, Betty Ristau; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Joseph R. Ristau; and parents.

A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 2-4 PM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130.
