Earl Wilkin

Earl Herbert James Wilkin, age 83, of Sugar Grove, passed away at his residence on Monday June 4th, 2012. He was born in Lancaster on January 18, 1929 to Forest and Pauline Wilkin. He was a member of the American Legion Post 11, loved wood working, riding horses and loved his birds.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eileen Wilkin; daughters, Kathy S. (Terry Sr.) Newman, of Logan, Peggy A. (Steve) Weisenstein, of Pickerington, and Molly K. (Chris) Ruth of Sugar Grove; 8 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Forest Glen Wilkin and his wife Pauline (Perry) Wilkin; sons, Terry Lee Wilkin and Jimmy Ray Wilkin; and brothers, Glen Edward Wilkins and Garrett Nelson Wilkin.
Caring cremation has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME at Earls request with a private graveside service at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery in Lancaster.
