E. Irene McDowell Mauger 93 of Lancaster, Ohio died Friday, September 5, 2014 at Homestead Nursing Center. She was a member of the former Methodist Church in front of Violet Cemetery and a member of the Pickerington Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her daughter, Naomi Stiles of Baltimore, Ohio; sons, Paul (Barbara) McDowell of Willis, Texas and Darrell (Lynda) McDowell of Sugar Grove, Ohio; grandchildren, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ossie McDowell and Floyd Mauger; parents, Franklin and Felcie Brickey and brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be held Monday, September 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE., OHIO 43105 with Rev. Brian Dutiel officiating. Burial to follow in Violet Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 1-3 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
