Dwight Turner

Dwight Turner, 58, of Lancaster, was tragically taken from us on August 9, 2015. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Dwight was an avid Harley rider, dedicated employee, and was a wonderful, generous, and loyal friend to many. He is best remembered with a big smile and a joke to tell. He will be missed by many friends and adoring family.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia Turner; daughter, Marcy (Nathan) Eckhart; grandson, Paxton Eckhart; mother-in-law, Marie Baas; brother-in-laws, John (Kathy) Baas Jr. and Carl Baas; sister-in-law, Margaret (Kirby) McCoy and Cecilia (Tim) Leist; nieces and nephews, Jarod (Robyn) Baas, Joel Baas, Tim (Jen) Myers, Clayton (Katie) McCoy, and Coleman (Julie) McCoy, many friends and cousins; daughter’s in-laws, Don and Sue Ellen Eckhart; and beloved grand dog, Nellie.

Dwight is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Helen Turner.

The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 7p.m. at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home located at 405 N. Columbus Street in Lancaster with Pastor John Ransom officiating.
