December 16, 1948 — December 17, 2014

Dwight Wesley Lightner, 66, Sugar Grove, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Pickering House.

Dwight was a member of Sugar Grove United Methodist Church. He was very proud to have served as a United States Marine in the Viet Nam War. Dwight passed away after many years of suffering from Agent Orange poisoning, yet never regretted his service to our country.

He valued the safety and comfort of his students, earning their respect and admiration over the years.

Dwight was preceded in death by his father and mother, John Wesley Lightner and Lois (Yowell) Lightner Winger; sister, Shirley Jolson; and brother, John Lightner.
