Dr. E. A. "Bud" Yarrington

Dr. E.A. (Bud) Yarrington passed away on April 7th, 2014 at the age of 93. He is survived by his wife of 71 years whom he loved and cherished until the end, Christine W. Yarrington and his daughter and son-in-law Lynn and Paul Raduege. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Edith Yarrington, whom he was born to in Marysville, on September 9th, 1920; He was also preceded by his sister, Ethel Gilbert.
Dr. Yarrington graduated from Marysville High School and soon after went into the Army to serve in World War II and was part of the 65th Division Artillery Unit. Upon his return he went to the Ohio State University where he was on the pistol team. After graduating he went on to attend Des Moines, Iowa Osteopathic College and graduated in 1951. His practice was located at 1019 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus, Ohio for 40 years. He retired at the age of 67. After retirement he was the band physician for the Lancaster Band of Gold and traveled to many places with them for several years.
He lived his life to the fullest and embraced all he did. For his family, his friends, and his patients he gave his all. He held his values high and always stood by his word.
We are having a celebration of his life on Sunday, June 22nd at The Lodge, located at 129 E. Main St. in Lancaster, Ohio 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Please come join us and share your memories. Caring Cremation® has taken place through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home.
