Douglas L. Mallory

Douglas L. Mallory, age 62 of Lancaster, died November 19, 2019 at Ohio State Medical Center.  He was born on June 8th, 1957 in Lancaster.  He was retired and always enjoyed spending time working on his cars and trucks.  His specialty was his gift of pinstriping, always keeping the straightest of lines with a steady hand.  He enjoyed racing up at National Trails and at other various events. Doug truly loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Diana L. Mallory; mother, "Dee" Mallory; children, Tamara (Sig) Triplett, Jason Mallory, Genna (Randy) McCafferty, Jackie (Terrell Scott) Phelps; stepchildren, Celest (Pat) Hyme, Ashlee (Rocky) Johnson, and Todd (Andrea) Benjamin; grandchildren, Justin (Tia), Tyler, Austin, Grace, Owen, Weston, Jordyn, Parker, Ethan, Kinsley, Hannah, Abigail, and Anthony.  Great grandchildren, Isaiah, and Faith; siblings, Jeff (Evelyn) Mallory and Todd (Jenifer) Mallory, and nieces and nephews.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, Gary Mallory, and sister, Cathy Woolover.

Caring Cremation has taken place through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place from 3PM  until 7PM on Nov. 30th, 2019 at the Logan Eagles 75 East Main St. Logan, OH 43138 directly after the Michigan Ohio State Game.
