Dorothy L. Davis

Dorothy L. Davis, 94, of Baltimore, passed away on March 23, 2021 at The Inn at Summit Trail. She was born to the late George and Hazel Myers on July 22, 1926 in Baltimore.

Dorothy enjoyed Wednesday lunches at the Christ United Methodist Church, getting her hair done at the Village Curl, and meals at Ma-Maw's Diner.

She is survived by her children, James “Jim” (Marilyn) Davis, Janet (Dan) Dotson, Jerry Davis, and Anna (Richard) Beller; grandchildren, Shelley (Christopher) Barr, Robert (Elizabeth) Davis, Ryan (Sarah) Carpenter, Michael Carpenter, Wendy Burnett, Jennifer (Jarrod) Smith, Jeremy Davis, Jared Davis, and Lindsey Davis; several great grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Worrell, Donna (Denny) Keller, Glenna Young, Karen Boyer, and Lois Valdez; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Davis; infant son Thomas; daughter, Nancy Fangman; and sisters, Thelma Mauger, Sarah Scheidegger, Lillian Sites, Carol McKibben, and Mildred Moore.

A funeral service officiated by Rev. Jill Dunlap will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME 207 S. Main St., Baltimore, OH, 43105. Burial will follow in Union Evangelical Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 5-8 PM on Friday, and one hour prior to the service Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Dorothy’s name to Capital City Hospice, 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr. Suite #170, Columbus, OH 43231.
