Dorothy L. Dottie (Crabtree) Poff, age 81, of Pickerington, went home to heaven on Wednesday, September 30th, 2015 at her residence in Reflections Assisted Living in Lancaster. She was born to the late, Ezra and Dorothy Rensch Crabtree on November 13th, 1933 in Columbus.
She worked at Krogers prior to having children. She retired from Cuthberts Greenhouse in Groveport. She has been attending Lancaster Vineyard Church.
Dottie is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy E. (Janet) Poff of Carroll, Michael D. (Cheryl) Poff of Greenback, TN; three daughters and sons-in-law, Joy D. (Troy) Luckenbach of Uniontown, Kim L. (Perry) Leitnaker of Pickerington, Dorothy J Jeannie (Tony) Damon of Baltimore; grandchildren, Ted, Angie, Dusty, Kristie, Misty, Jamie (Rick), Lukas (Brian), Lacey, Jeremy, Elizabeth, Bethany, Becky, and Cari; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Donna Curmode, Carol (Woody) Kuhn; sister-in-law, Lois Crabtree, Mary Haley, Ann (Bob) Anderson; brother-in-law, Rev. Raymond (Sharon) Poff; many nieces and nephews; special nephew Mark (Sonya Sony) Poff and special friends, Winnie (Gary) Vance.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Jimmy J. Poff; parents; brothers, Jimmy Crabtree, Carl Bus Crabtree; and brother-in-law, Joe Curmode; and great-granddaughter, Heaven Lewis.
A special thanks to niece Karen Rose, the Staff ad residents of Reflections Assisted Living; and FairHoPe Hospice. She will be sadly missed by all.
A funeral service will take place on Monday at 10:30AM at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Baltimore, officiated by Pastor Shawn Banker. Burial will follow the services at Union Evangelical Cemetery.
