Dorothy "Dottie" McClurg

Dorothy E. “Dottie” McClurg 89 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Pickering House.

She was a member of Sixth Avenue United Methodist Church, an avid golfer and loved spending time with her family.

Dottie is survived by her daughter, Judy Woods of Lancaster, Ohio; sons, Larry (Pamela) McClurg of Grove City, Ohio and Joe (Jill) McClurg of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren, Shad Reliford, Josh (Colleen) Reliford, Jessica (Chris) Wotruba, Katie (CJ) Koller, Jake McClurg, and Chris (Natasha) McClurg; four great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dora Mae Cheney of Lancaster, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John L. “Jack” McClurg, daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Bill Reliford, parents, Clement McCabe and Onnalee Snoke, brothers, Ralph and Fred McCabe.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Rick Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Betzer Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
