Donna Jean (Mathias) Webb

Donna Jean Webb 93 of Thurston, Ohio passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 at Buckeye Rehabilitation Center.

She was a member of Fairfield Baptist Church.  Her family was her life as a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.  She enjoyed watching professional golf, OSU football and basketball, quiz shows like Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.  Donna liked to go camping and mushroom hunting.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Wanda J. Phillips of Thurston, Ohio; sons, Gary E. (Glee) Blosser of Etna, Ohio and Dale L. (Debi) Blosser of Baltimore, Ohio; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren; she also raised five step children, Michael E. Webb, David A. Webb, Richard H. Webb, Gary L. Webb and Terry L. Webb; brothers, Ronald E. Mathias of Illinois and Paul E. (Sharon) Mathias of Cambridge, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Joyce Blosser of Baltimore, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester “Chet” Webb, daughter, Linda S. Blosser, son, Harold W. Blosser, parents, Walter and May Mathias, sisters, Mabel Durant, Virginia “Ginny” Landis and Helen Landis, brothers, Harold, Richard, Loren, John, Jimmie and Dale Mathias and a half brother, Donald Mathias.

Funeral service will be held Monday, February 8, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43107 with Pastor Marvin Buckelheimer. A live broadcast of the funeral service will be hosted on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. on the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory Facebook page. Burial will follow in Union Evangelical Cemetery.  Friends may visit 1 hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.  In accordance with state mandates, COVID protocols including facial coverings and social distancing will be followed.
